As a LPC-A supervised by Karen Breeding for LPC & Con Cetta LPC-S & BC-DMT for R-DMT.
My goal is to support your specific goals, coordinating your mind, body, and soul. We often forget the body is connected with our mind.

About
My fee ranges from $90-$150. I am a registered dance movement therapist and lpc associate. I use Bartenieff Fundamentals and mirroring from Marian Chase. My specialty is trauma and my thesis was written on how we can use dance movement therapy to treat mental and physical signs of trauma.
Barteneiff was a physical therapist who created a whole developmental movement pattern to help those with brain impairments, physical impairments, and mental health. Using certain movements that cross the corpus callosum (the middle of the brain) has been shown to help an individual regain that movement after having a stroke.
The name of Heiser Counseling is a tribute to my grandfather. He was my rock and he is the reason I have become what I have become today.

Meet the therapist. Destany Schadder, LPC-Associate, R-DMT, MA, NCC
Supervised by Karen Finley Breeding LPC-S & Con Cetta BC-DMT
As a LPC-A, I provide comprehensive services to guide and help you feel the confidence and support you need to overcome your challenges. Throughout my life I have always been asked for advice, I have been leaned on, and I have always been told I make a great "cheer leader." Whatever it is you are wanting to accomplish or overcome I am here to help.
I am a creative who has been involved with movement practice for years. With some clients I use artistic practices to truly allow each individual to be seen.

We can choose to grow or we can stay in our old habits. What is waiting for us on the other side might just be a beautiful beach.

Our brain is wired differently when we are active. I highly encourage everyone to take a moment to get active. You will find better focus, stress will decrease, and you will prevent illness.
